Overview:
CoreBuild Engineering Services is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer to monitor and enforce safety protocols at our construction sites. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and contractors. You will be responsible for conducting regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training staff on safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections on construction sites
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Provide safety training and guidance to employees and contractors
- Investigate accidents or incidents and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and practices
- Certification in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
